Master Nigel Chai Chong is the owner and chief instructor of Black Belt Academy. He has over 30 years of teaching experience and has vast experience in teaching the art of Taekwondo.

He opened Black Belt Academy twenty years ago in Beltsville, Maryland with the hope of not only teaching the art of taekwondo but also showing others his passion for the Olympic sport.

Master Nigel has spent over 30 years devoted to training in the art of Taekwondo and other martial arts and has extensive certifications and resume including:

• Over 30 years teaching experience.

• World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) certified Master. 

• Intercontinental Coach's License holder.

• Coached numerous athletes to USA and AAU National Team positions

• USA Taekwondo National Team Coach.

• Junior World Championship Team Coach.
